PJ, Master- und Bachelorarbeiten sind im AK Kaiser nach Absprache mit Prof.’in Kaiser möglich. Bitte schicken Sie Ihre vollständigen Unterlagen (Notentranskript und Motivationsschreiben) per Email an die Assistenz von Prof. Kaiser, Birgit Bartussek. Wir empfehlen eine Anfrage von ~ 4 Monaten vor dem Beginn des Praktikums.
Promotion – no funded position
Im AK Kaiser erforschen wir die Zusammenhänge von RNA Modifikationen und humanen Krankheiten bzw. Arzneimitteltherapien. Dazu nutzen wir übliche RNA biologische Techniken, Gelelektrophorese, Fluoreszenz sowie primär Massenspektrometrie. Neben biologisch-chemischen Promotionsarbeiten sind auch analytisch-chemische Promotionen möglich. Bei Interesse empfehlen wir die Durchführung eines Forschungspraktikums/Masterarbeit in der Arbeitsgruppe.
Postdoc – no funded position
In our lab, you will have the opportunity to apply our break-through concept NAIL-MS* in various biological contexts and decipher the dynamics of the epitranscriptome inside living cells. You will learn stable isotope labeling of RNA in cell culture and use it to answer important questions regarding RNA modification hierarchy and necessity under stress. In the vibrant research community of the Campus Riedberg/Frankfurt, you will expand your professional network through collaborations with established colleagues in the field.
